(WVUE) - Sha'Carri Richardson's re-visitation of the race track didn't end in the victory win she was expecting. She finished dead last against the same ladies she two or three months prior.
Richardson, who was disqualified from the Tokyo Olympics, made her presentation in the Prefontaine Classic at the University of Oregon where she was set to race in the ladies' 100-meter dash. Alongside would be the three Jamaican Olympians who took the gold, silver, and bronze medals in her absence.
Jamaican Elaine Thompson-Herah bested her Olympic gold-award winning time at 10.54 seconds, the best time on the planet this year as well as a meet record and a personal best.
Richardson wound up finishing ninth spot with a period of 11.14 seconds. In a post-race talk with, she conveyed a blazing message to every one individuals who questioned her.
"This is one race," she said. "I'm not done. You realize what I'm prepared to do. Forget about me assuming you need to. Talk all the sh–you need. Because I'm digging in for the long haul. I'm not done. I'm the sixth fastest lady in this game ever. Can't no one at any point take that from me."
Richardson was also scheduled to contend in the ladies' 200 on Saturday evening yet pulled out from that race.
